Real Estate Websites that Work
My goal is to empower you as a Realtor to generate your leads online on your website. Instead of throwing your money away on advertising on real estate portals, Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, and the sites.
I think they are invading our space online and blocking us from generating happy buyers and sellers without them.
Real estate is your business. I can show you how to carve out a niche in your town or area…and dominate online.
Like you, I’ve been a Realtor for 30 years and counting. In 1995, I wanted to take advantage of the internet but had no idea how. It took me several years of learning to figure it out.
Once I did, my friend and I created a team of happy real estate agents and began to take advantage of the internet in 2003. At that time, it was easy to take a new website and get it to appear on page 1 of Google.
Really easy. But now, things are different.
You have to target market your efforts to win the client you want. I tell real estate agents that I develop websites for…pick a target market.
What is a Target Market?
That could be “Dallas homes with pools”. When someone is searching for a city, property type, and a specific feature, they have user intent. It is something they really, really, really want and you are the best agent in Dallas.
And you being a top agent that specializes in Dallas homes with pools can convince them on your website that you are the right agent for them.
How would you do that?
You would create one page of content (it’s not that hard) about Dallas homes with pools. Then, communicate with the visitor to that page about everything to do with homes with pools.
Is that all I need to do, create 1 page? No. But it is a starting point.
Online, you have to become the topical authority for, in this example, Dallas homes with pools.
Let’s use an AI Tool like ChatGPT? No thank you. How about Perplexity.ai or Claude.ai? That sounds better.
So I asked Perplexity.ai
“What topics would I have to cover if I wanted to be the Topical Authority for “Dallas homes with pools”? Create a list of topics and go indepth with a one to two sentence explanation about this task.”
